Stationers Ribbon Cutting

Former Chamber of Commerce president Verle Burgason was surrounded by the owners as he cut the ribbon to open the enlarged and newly-remodeled Ames Stationers store at 238 Main Street. Shown are Jack Hazlett at left, D.L. Iverson to the immediate left of the scissors, and Marvin Miller on the right. Miller was one of founders of the Ames Historical Society. Today that building houses the Quilting Connection.
