Ames Public Library Auditorium
Free and open to the public

Presented by Dr. Tom Rosburg

Prairies and other ecosystems are recognized by their vegetation. Many types of tallgrass prairie communities can be observed in Iowa depending on moisture and fertility, how much disturbance there has been, and biogeography. The role of forbs in the many prairies of Iowa will be presented by Dr. Tom Rosburg.

Presented in partnership by the Outdoor Alliance of Story County, Story County Conservation, Ames Public Library, and Ames Historical Society.
