Birds, Kids, and Nature

Ames Public Library Auditorium
Free and open to the public

Whether it is seeing a colorful Baltimore Oriole high in a tree, hearing a melodious Wood Thrush deep in the woods or simply spending a morning in the great outdoors, Tyler has been working with the next generation of conservationists by using birds to connect kids with the great outdoors. Tyler Harms works as a DNR biologist and is the Executive Director of Iowa Young Birders.

Presented in partnership by the Outdoor Alliance of Story County, Ames Public Library, and Ames Historical Society.
